The accommodation
Themi View is a charming and luxurious residential home located in a quiet, residential area in the city of Arusha, Tanzania. It is situated on the Njiro peninsula, on the Themi River gorges. We offer Bed & Breakfast services to maximum 10 people. Themi View is the place to relax before or after one of the plenty activities to be undertaken in the vicinity of Arusha.
The garden
The green garden exudes a sense of timeliness. You can enjoy the shade in a hammock, spot beautiful birds, maybe even baboons looking for food. The garden harbours a variety of trees and plants amongst others banana trees, papaya, mango, avocado, tangerine, orange, lemon, pomegranate, guava, passion fruit. All these fruits are used by our cook.
The river terrace
A stay at the gorge while enjoying a drink, reading a book or watching the sunset, listening to the sounds of birds and crickets, and the water running in the river below, will give you a nearly mystic experience.
Activities & location
Themi View is the home of the Tour de Kilimanjaro, offering a 6-8 day moutainbike / gravelbike tour around Mt. Kilimanjaro. You can also make a bikesafari and single day tours from Themi View on mountainbike / gravelbike.
Because of its excellent location, it is easy to organize safari day trips to the game parcs of Ngorongoro, Tarangire or Arusha National Park.
